The productive process includes phases of material verifications, up to the final checks performed before shipping.
Forgiatura San Giorgio supplies in accordance with the requirements of the most important international standards and of Customers specifications, issuing the relevant final Certification.
The DESTRUCTIVE TESTS like:
Chemical Analysis
Tensile test at room T. or hot tensile tests
Impact test until -196 °C
Metallographies tests
Corrosion tests
These tests are outsourced to external laboratories qualified and approved according to the standards EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The NON DESTRUCTIVE TEST like PMI, Hardness test (HB, HV10, HRC) performed internally.
Personnel qualified for Level 2 and 3 according to the standards EN 473 and SNC-TC 1A can perform:
- Dimensional and visual control
- Ultrasonic test
- Magnetic Particle test
- Dye Penetrant test
